The TELEGRAPH humeral nail is designed for insertion from top to bottom, in anterograde mode.

The TELEGRAPH range comprises two models :

Short TELEGRAPH used to treat proximal fractures. Made of stainless steel (standard® ISO 5832/1) and 150mm long, it is available in 3 diameters : 7, 8 and 9 mm. It is per-forated in both proximal and distal parts to hold 4 mm full threaded cancellous bone screws... For more information click here

This is used for diaphyseal fractures and associated diaphyseal and proximal fractures. No mobility is possible between the nail and the bone which are held firmly by the proximal self-stabilizing system and also by the distal fixation peg screws, the thread of which is in contact with the nail.
A special system is used for easy insertion of the distal fixation peg
screws.
